ARSON is suspected following a fire involving a skip which broke out in Oughtrington Lane, Lymm.
Firefighters from Stockton Heath and Altrincham attended the incident and one hose reel jet was used to extinguish the blaze.
Police are asking anyone with information about the fire to call them on 101 or via the anonymous Crimestoppers hot line on 0800 555 111.
In a separate incident, electricity company engineers were called to Park Road, Orford, Warrington after smoke was seen coming from a manhole.
Fire crews cordoned off the area and stood by until any danger was ruled out.
