WET weather didn’t deter a record number of people from attending a Warrington couple’s open garden weekend – raising more than £3,000 for the
National Garden Scheme Charities.
Despite the poor weather Howard and Wendy Platt had a record 452 visitors to their gardens at Laskey Farm, Thelwall and only one was brave enough to have a swim !!
Combined with earlier and future visits from garden groups in 2014 they will have seen over 500 people and raised in excess of £3,000.
Howard and Wendy said: “As always thank you for your support!”
