WARRINGTON-born singer-songwriter Jenny Hepton is to release her first single – telling the emotive story of her daughter’s time in hospital for open heart surgery.
The title, “Wait for You” will be available for download from iTunes from October 6 and all proceeds will go to the children’s charity at Great Ormond Street Hospital, where her daughter was treated.
Jenny, 26, now lives in Hertfordshire, and having played piano nearly all her life turned her hand to song writing in 2011 when her passion for music began to flourish.
Her music is soulful, emotive and honest with powerful, meaningful lyrics and striking melodies.
Last year Jenny began showcasing her music at local open mic sessions and performed at her first charity music festival, which was very well received.
She is also to release her first EP, “Written in the scars”, a brutally honest and moving collection of her own music.
