WARRINGTON Borough Council’s Careers for Young People service will once again be holding its highly successful careers event.
Held on Thursday 11 September 3pm-6pm at Orford Jubilee Neighbourhood Hub, the event is specifically focused to helping 15 to 19 year olds find the right course, career pathway, or job in Warrington.
All attendees will get the chance to speak with local employers, colleges and training providers and will be able to apply for jobs, apprenticeships, short courses and programmes.
Cllr Jean Carter, executive board member for children and young people’s services said: “This is a fantastic opportunity for the young people of Warrington to gather an understanding of the careers and courses that are available and will give them the chance to gain an insight into the real working world.”
