A foodie day out for all the family

THE Cheshire Food Festival returns to Arley Hall on Saturday and Sunday, September 20-21 for a fun, foodie day out for the whole family.
Arley will be full of food lovers, chefs and artisan cooks for the return of an event showcasing more than 80 top local producers, a big serving of stunning hot food, real ale and wine bars.
There will also be craft and gift stalls, lots of activities and rides for the kids, top chef demos, stir in a cake competition and the popular Men v Food, with lashings of excellent live music.
The main chef demo area inside the Crook Barn hosts great local and regional chefs, all demos are free – as part of the admission ticket – to enter so everyone can pick up top foodie tips.
There are also regular Artisan foodie talks and the popular Great British Cake off.
The festival offers a great opportunity to get a real taste of the best of Cheshire and Great British produce but also sample some more exotic elements such as Thai pies, ostrich burgers, or Samosas.
