AN impressive looking Warrington Town continued their pre-season build

up with a 5-0 thumping of Northern Conference outfit Colwn Bay at

Cantilever Park.
Two first half goals from striker Chris Simm, (pictured above and right) either side of a tap in for Craig Robinson after good work by Anthony Hickey, saw the rampant Yellows 3-0 up at the break against the team from two divisions higher who start their season at the weekend.
Scott Metcalfe added a fourth from the penalty spot after the lively Hickey was brought down in front of goal, with Ben Wharton adding the fifth five minutes from time after good foot work by Will Jones.
Louis Corrigan almost added a sixth but his free-kick from outside the box was well saved by former Town shot stopper Josh Ollerenshaw.
Next up for Town is Leicester City Under 21s next Tuesday at Cantilever Park.

Uplifting- Metcalfe and Simm celebrate
