Mystery of the rugby club trailer

THE mystery owner of a horse box-type trailer left at Lymm Rugby Club has been warned that it is not claimed within 10 days, the club will dispose of it.
Club officials were left scratching their heads when the trailer mysteriously appeared on the club car park – shortly after the club had been used by a film crew working in the village and also by organisers of the Lymm Festival transport day.
Jim Knowles, the club’s grounds chairman said: “Enquiries from members, neighbours, film and festival people have failed to reveal anyone responsible for is now a trespass.
“The trailer hitch and doors were left locked by the trespasser.
“On legal and police advice a notice has been put on the trailer stating an intention to dispose of it in 10 days, counting from Friday August 1.
“The trailer has now been additionally secured and claimants will need to apply to the club with proof of ownership before it can be released.”
