WARRINGTON’S Sikh community is getting together to organise a 10k road race at Birchwood on Sunday, August 17.
The race will start at 10.30am and will raise money for a better future for local children.
It is hoped to also open up other activities for youngsters at the Guru Nanak Sikh Temple in Warrington to keep children busy during their spare time and same them from other distractions.
People who would like to sponsor or take part in the race should contact Mr Raswinder Singh Sura on 07950590256 or by email [email protected]
Fourteen runners are already running the race and many more are welcome – but the organisers would like all names no later than August 12.
Runners must be 15 or older.
