Home extension thrown out

PLANNING bosses have thrown out proposals to extend at detached house at Whittle Hall, Warrington.
Four neighbours lodged objections to the proposed development in Tasman Close and members of the borough council’s planning committee decided the proposed side and rear extensions would be too large and would have an unacceptable impact on the street scene.
They also claimed the development would be overbearing to neighbours and
take light from the conservatory of an adjoining house.
Planning officers had recommended the borough council’s planning committee to approve the scheme.
