A MANAGER from the Co-operative Funeralcare has been promoted to head up six funeral homes in the Warrington area.
John Blair (pictured), from Southport, joined the Co-operative Funeralcare in 1990 and was promoted to funeral home manager in the resort in 2004.
Now he manages 33 staff at six funeral homes in Warrington, Stockton Heath, Widnes and Runcorn and is looking forward to his new role.
John said: “I feel so proud of what I have achieved in my career so far with The Co-operative Funeralcare and I am now looking forward to developing into my new role.
“I always wanted to work in the funeral industry, caring for bereaved families and helping them to have a unique and fitting tribute. I love coming to work every day and making a real difference to people’s lives.”
