Three fires in four hours

FIREFIGHTERS at Warrington were called out three times in the space of four hours to deal with incidents in three different parts of the borough.
One blaze, involving a quantity of refuse in Thelwall New Road was believed to have been started deliberately and police are investigating. A water backpack was used to extinguish it.
Anyone with information is asked to call police on 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
A hose reel jet was used to put out a fire in the rear garden of a house in Densham Avenue, Longford.
Two hose reel jets were used to tacked a fire involving a shed in St Asaph Drive, Burtonwood.
A gas cylinder was discovered in the shed and had to be cooled down with jets of water to ensure there was no explosion.
