Dentist's signs upset residents

SIGNS outside a dentist’s surgery at Lymm have upset nearby residents.
They claim the signs at Dr Jane Butterworth’s surgery in Higher Lane are detrimental to the street scene.
But Dr Butterworth is seeking planning consent to retain the signs – and planning officers at Warrington are recommending her application be approved.
The surgery is in a former detached bungalow sandwiched between a petrol filling station and a convenience store and the signs are contained within the grounds
Planning officers say the signs have no impact on highway safety nor on the visual amenity of the road.
The application will come before the borough council’s planning committee on Wednesday.
