Neighbours oppose house extension

FOUR neighbours have lodged objections to a plan to extend a house in Tasman Close, Whittle Hall, Warrington.
They claim the part single, part two-storey extensions to the side and rear of the detached house would be totally out of keeping with other adjacent properties and would make the overall development far too large. In addition they would rob neighbouring properties of light and amenity.
Local councillor Keith Gleave has also expressed concern over the proposals on the grounds they would be out of keeping with the area, would be overbearing to neighbours and would take light from the conservatory of an adjoining house.
Planning officers are recommending the borough council’s planning committee to approve the scheme.
