Lymm High school’s golden girls

TWO girls from Lymm High School) achieved gold in the women’s J15 double sculls at the National Schools Regatta at Nottingham.
Lucy Glover and Eleanor Davies (Year 10), came top out of a field of 59 entries beating off competition from some top-class rowing clubs, including Headington School, Henley Rowing Club, Sir William Borlaise School and Marlow Rowing Club.
The girls were presented with the Wycliffe Waterman Trophy. The trophy comes back to Lymm High School for a third time in nine years. This is an outstanding achievement for the school.
