THREE housing site managers working in Warrington have scooped prestigious awards in a national competition to find the best-run building sites in Britain.
Glyn Fazackerley at Montgomery Green, Stuart Kirby at Riversdale and Stuart Lee at Walton Locks – all developments by David Wilson Homes North West in Warrington – all gained official recognition for the way they run their developments with a Pride in the Job Quality Award.
The awards are the most coveted in the housebuilding industry. They
are awarded after the standard setting body National House-Building Council (NHBC) carries out a series of spot check site inspections to select the best-organised and best-quality housing developments.
Almost 15,000 site managers throughout the UK were judged on every aspect of their job, including technical skill, quality workmanship, customer service and site safety.
The three site managers now go forward to the final round of the competition which will select the best site manager in Britain.
Ian Durband, construction director for David Wilson Homes North West, said: “The official recognition of the jobs which our winning site managers are doing, shows that David Wilson Homes is building some of the best quality homes in the country.
“The site manager plays a pivotal role in delivering high-quality new homes and that is why we are so delighted with these two national awards.
“This is truly an outstanding result and one which should inspire confidence in our buyers.”
