AN estimated 7,000 people attended the Lymm Historic Transport Day, which provided a fitting climax to the annual Lymm Festival.
Fine weather ensured a huge turn out to witness a parade of nearly 100 classic vehicles travelling through the village, before gathering on the May Queen Field.
Organiser Alan Williams, who was supported by an army of 70 volunteers, was delighted with proceedings.
