Pharmacy services under scrutiny

WARRINGTON Borough Council’s public health team is asking residents to give their views on pharmacy services in the town.
The council’s Health and Wellbeing Board have a requirement to produce a
pharmaceutical needs assessment which looks at dispensing, proving advice on health, medicines reviews and local public health services such as stopping smoking and sexual health.
A survey is currently under way to find out what people think about their local services and these results will be used to help assess any future
applications for new pharmacies
Cllr Pat Wright, the council’s lead member for health, wellbeing and adult services said: “As a council, and through the work of the board, we are committed to promoting and improving the long term health and wellbeing of the people who live in Warrington and we’d like residents to have their say on this matter through completing the survey.”
People have until Friday July 25 to complete the survey at www.surveymonkey.com/s/PNApatientsurvey
It can also be completed on paper and posted to the public health team at: Warrington Public Health Knowledge and Intelligence Team, Families and Wellbeing Directorate, Warrington Borough Council, New Town House,
Buttermarket Street, Warrington, WA1 2NJ
