Man, 21, robbed in street

POLICE today appealed for information from the public following a robbery at Warrington.
A 21-year-old man was attacked and robbed of clothing, keys and a mobile phones as he walked along Troutbeck Avenue, Bewsey.
The incident was at about 2am on Tuesday (June 17).
The victim was attacked by two men, one of who was about 5 ft 10 inches tall, of medium build and with some facial hair. He was wearing a blue, waist length coat with a hood.
The second man was about 5ft 4 inches tall, with short dark hair and was aged about 23-24. He was wearing a white t-shirt with stripes across the front and long blue pants.
The victim sustained some bruising to his eye but did not require hospital treatment.
Police are appealing for any witnesses to the robbery and are asking anyone who has any information to call 101. Alternatively information can be given anonymously to Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
