Injured man rescued from scaffolding

A MAN with a suspected broken leg was rescued from scaffolding at Warrington today.
Fire and rescue crews from Warrington, supported by a rope rescue unit from Knutsford fire station, carried out the rescue in Chester Road, Higher Walton.
Paramedics were called to the scene and helped lower the man to safety before taking him to hospital by ambulance.
No details of how the man suffered the leg injury have been released.
