New residents' association planned

RESIDENTS of the Whittle Hall area of Warrington are getting together to form a residents’ association.
A meeting, organised by Warrington Borough Council and some local residents, is to be held at Whittle Hall Community Centre on Monday, June 23 at 7pm.
The open meeting with give people a chance to discuss gthe idea of a residents association, while also considering activities that they would like to see in their local area.
Local councillors will attend the meeting together with police officers who will help residents with security marking for bikes.
Cllr Kate Hannon, the borough council’s lead member for leisure, community and culture, said: “This evening is a great opportunity for the local community to come together, share opinions and meet their neighbours. Be sure to come along for a piece of cake, a cup of tea and a chat.”
