FORMER lead singers of The Beautiful South, Paul Heaton and Jacqui Abbott are to play Warrington’s Parr Hall this winter.
The pair, who had sell-out UK shows in the spring, will be in town on December 1 at 7pm.
Arguably one of the most successful songwriters in the country, Paul Heaton enjoyed great success in the 80’s in The Housemartins with hits including Caravan of Love and Happy Hour before creating The Beautiful South.
Adding Jacqui to the line-up in the 90’s, they enjoyed chart success with hits such as Perfect 10, Rotterdam and Don’t Marry Her until their split in 2007.
Their new album, What Have We Become, is a Top 3 selling album with their second single, Moulding of a Fool, to be released on July 21.
Tickets for the Warrington show go on sale today (Friday) and can be purchased via box office in person, via 01925 442345 or online www.pyramidparrhall.com
