MORE details have been revealed of the £52 million plan to revitalise Warrington’s Bridge Street.
A new square – pictured as a computer generated image – is to be created as the core of the ambitious regeneration project.
The image shows a proposed multiplex cinema to the right, with family friendly restaurants below.
To the left is a contemporary-style new council office block and also the new market hall, which will front on to Bridge Street, using the former Boots building – a Grade 2 listed building – as its frontage.
A two-day public exhibition will be held on Friday, June 13, 2pm to 8pm and Saturday, June 14, between 9am and 2pm.
The Friday showing will be at the Former Glitz Building, 54
Bank Street, Time Square, Warrington while the Saturday event will be at Warrington Retail Market.
The key elements of the scheme remain the same as those announced in October last year.
