House targeted by arsonists

POLICE are appealing for information following an arson attack on a home on Alder Lane in Warrington.
The incident took place at around 12:30am on Friday, 30th May 30, when the house which was occupied at the time, had accelerant poured through the letterbox on the front door which was then ignited causing the door to catch fire.
DC Stephen Deehan, from Warrington CID, said: “This is a very serious offence and police are keen to trace two men seen in the area just prior to the event. The men were seen with another person pulling up in a small, 2 door, gold coloured Peugeot and approaching the property wearing balaclavas.”
