Police seek owner of jewellery

POLICE have recovered a number of watches and pieces of jewellery which are believed to have been stolen.
Some of the items of jewellery have portrait photographs inside meaning, should the rightful owner come forward they could be identified.
Detective Sergeant Angela Coppock said: “We are really keen to re-unite these items with their owners.
“These will be of great sentimental value to someone and we can identify the owner of some of the jewellery easily due to the photographs inside.”
Police say anyone who recognises the jewellery should contact them on 101, quoting incident 435.
A spokesman added: “We are not in a position to give details of the enquiries which led to the jewellery being found due to criminal proceedings.”
