Aldi embark on Warrington recruitment drive

SUPERMARKET Aldi is on an ambitious recruitment drive in 2014, as it sees continued growth across the country and plans a significant number of new store openings, including the new Winwick Road store in Warrington.
The company is looking to recruit 100 new Store Assistants throughout the year just in the Warrington area, a role which promises fantastic career progression and responsibility.
The company is also recruiting for other job roles across the company including Store Management positions ranging from Deputy Store Managers, and Assistant Store Managers to Store Managers.
There are many examples of positive recruitment in the Warrington area. One such example is Harry Sangan, of Grappenhall, Warrington, who joined Aldi initially as a Store Assistant in November 2013 and currently works in the Birchwood store.
Harry opted for a complete change in career after going to University to study Film Studies and Journalism. Harry’s sister also works for Aldi and when asked why he joined Aldi Harry said his sister’s quick progression into management made him want to apply.
Harry also commented that there are a number of qualities that you need to work at Aldi: “You have to ensure that you are a confident individual with a strong work ethic. It is important to push yourself during your shift to make your colleague’s job easier when they come in and take over from you.”
