Westwood back for Magic weekend as Wolves prepare to tackle Saints

JOINT Skipper Ben Westwood returns to Warrington Wolves 19 man squad after recovering from a calf tear, as they prepare to bring the curtain down on this year’s Magic Weekend event against local rivals St Helens on Sunday evening, kick-off 5pm.
Rugby League fans will enjoy a spectacle of extraordinary rugby across two days as all 14 teams take to the stage at the Etihad Stadium.
Local rivals will battle it out on the home pitch of the Premier League Title Winners – Manchester City – so the stage is set as Wolves and Saints go head-to-head in a repeat of last year’s encounter which saw the Wolves come out on top.
Both sides come into this game off the back of victories in the last round; the Wolves hoping to build on their win over Catalan to start pushing up the table, and St Helens looking to maintain their strong start to the campaign having secured a win over the Wolves in round 1 of this year’s First Utility Super League.
Wolves’ head of coaching and rugby Tony Smith has named his 19-man squad for this Sunday.
