Police seek callous burglars

POLICE at Warrington are appealing for information relating to a callous distraction burglary in the town.
The offences occurred on Monday morning in the Whitecross area of Warrington.
Two men approached a woman in her 80s claiming to have come to test her alarms. One man entered the house without speaking. He looked in the living room and dining room while the second man waited outside.
Both men were in their 30s and of medium build. They left on foot and it is not known if anything was taken.
Police are treating this incident very seriously and are reminding people to always ask for identification before allowing anyone into their home.
