Premier League Coming to Town!

EVERTON in the Community and Warrington Town FC are teaming up with a long term community partnership to encourage youngsters to participate in sport and lead healthy lifestyles.
To launch the partnership Everton in the Community will be hosting a football tournament to be played at Goodison Park, the home of Premier League football team, Everton, on Thursday May 22nd.
The partnership follows an approach from Warrington Town to Everton, who are widely recognised as the leaders in community projects, to help witht he club’s 2020 Vision, to deliver a Football league team to Warrington in six years time.
Warrington Chairman Richard Sutton said: “Everton is recognised as a fantastic opportunity for grassroots for football in the community.”
The joint partnership will see Everton in the Community join Warrington Town in school visits, coaching and football camps.
To help kick start the project a special tournament has been organised at Goodison Park.
Players and Teams of 11 players are invited to register and attend the full day event and enjoy a full match day experience.
Individuals who don’t have a team, can play as a mixed team that will be selected on the day.
Players of all ability and age are catered for. Dad and lad teams welcome!

The day will include:
• Start at 9am
• Walk through the stadium to the players dressing room
• Enter the pitch via the players tunnel
• A full days playing on the pitch, until 3pm
• Food and refreshments provided for players
• Medal for every player
• Trophy for the winning team
• Friends and family welcome as spectators to support.
• All monies raised will be used to grow and promote grassroots football in the Warrington and surrounding areas.
