THE Orford Park Festival will take place on Sunday June 8 from 1pm until 5pm.
There will be live music, fairground rides, familiy activities and more than 40 craft, gift and food stalls at the event, in partnership with LiveWire.
Jan Souness LiveWire’s Managing Director said: “We are really excited that LiveWire are able to get involved with this annual event and expand on the great work that the Orford community has contributed over the last few years. We want to encourage families from all over Warrington to come down and join in this year’s festival extravaganza.”
The festival will celebrate the 100th anniversary of World War One with a themed community fancy dress walk around the park, a WW1 style tea room, local history groups and a family zone with war themed arts and craft activities taking place throughout the afternoon.
Cllr Mike Hannon said: “It has been great to team up with LiveWire and push the Orford Park Festival to be the biggest and best so far. We have not forgotten the roots of the festival though and will have all Orford’s community groups and stalls alongside new editions live the live music stage and family zone.”
