Charity group seeks help in grant bid

CHARITY group the Walton Lea Partnership is seeking help in their bid to win a £25,000 grant to convert two-wheeled bikes into three-wheelers for those without the confidence to ride on two.
Voting is on line, and the Partnership is up against tough opposition.
The award, from Engage Mutual, will go to the two projects which receive the most votes. Voting is already under way and the two leading projects currently have 1,122 and 1,041 votes.
Walton Lea’s project is trailing in 33rd position with 106 votes.
Voting finishes on May 31 – so anyone who thinks the project worthwhile should go to the following link and vote:

The Walton Lea Partnership offers working and training in horticulture to adults with learning difficulties.
It runs a nursery at Walton Lea and a garden centre in Long Lane, Warrington
