HEALTH chiefs in Warrington are inviting people to a special event during Mental Health Awareness Week.
Warrington Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG) is holding the event at Woolston Neighbourhood Hub, on Hall Road, on Wednesday, May 14 from 6-7pm.
Members of the public will be able to talk with a variety of service providers and also with members of the mental health commissioning team.
Dr Mike Dennis, a GP and Warrington CCG clinical lead for mental health, said: “Getting people’s views of services is fundamentally important to us.
“We need to know how happy people are with services to help us understand how we can improve.”
Mental Health Awareness Week is being held nationally from May 12-18 and this year’s theme is anxiety.
Warrington CCG’s governing body will be meeting at Woolston Neighbourhood Hub at 7pm, immediately after the event.
Governing body meetings are held in public and everyone who attends the mental health event is welcome to attend.
