Police commissioner hits the road

POLICE and Crime Commissioner John Dwyer is hitting the road, visiting various locations across Cheshire to find out what people think about policing in their area.
He will be in Warringon on Wednesday May 7 – outside Lymm Village Hall, Pepper Street from 12 noon-1.30pm and at Birchwood Shopping Centre between 2pm-4pm.
Mr Dwyer said: “A crucial part of my role is to be accessible to the public of Cheshire.
“I need to gather people’s opinions and concerns about policing, and hold the Chief Constable to account on their behalf. The best way for me to do this is to speak to them either through these roadshow events, or private surgery appointments.”
Anyone with a private matter who would like to speak to the Commissioner can call 01606 364000, to book a one-to-one appointment.
Further roadshow dates will be available on www.cheshire-pcc.gov.uk
