A SEVEN-year-old Warrington boy who was upset by a TV commercial he saw about the Save the Children charity has climbed a mountain to help youngsters less fortunate than himself.
Bodhi Davies, from Chapelford, a pupil at Callands Primary School, climbed a mountain in the Lake District and raised £300 from the charity – and also received a letter of congratulations from his local MP.
He said: “I want to make a small difference to these children’s lives because they do not have the things that I have.”
Proud Mum Jennifer said: “He raised £300 altogether and also received a card from a local MP congratulating him. He did a cake sale and raised £15 and got sponsorship from family and friends.
“He really enjoyed the climb. It took him two hours and for a couple of days after he said that his bum was aching! He is planning a run for his next charity fund raiser!
Bodhi also attends Little Stars drama school and swims with the Warriors of Warrington.
He has set up a JustGiving page where supporters can still make donations at www.justgiving.com/BodhiDavies
