THE Lymm based Kids Planet day nursery has achieved an ‘Outstanding in all Areas’ Ofsted Inspection.
Clare Roberts, CEO of Kids Planet Group said: “I am over the moon that our Lymm nursery has achieved the highest rating by Ofsted. Michelle and her team work extremely hard to strive for the best for the children, with their continual hard work and support they provide the children with outstanding childcare. This has been officially recognised by receiving this rating by Ofsted.
“To date, our group of nurseries has achieved 5 Outstanding ratings by Ofsted at Lymm, Hale, Prestwich, Warrington and Jeffrey’s Corner Dukinfield.”
Ofsted inspectors acknowledged that Kids Planet Lymm provides outstanding and consistent quality of teaching throughout the nursery as a result children thrive and make first-rate progress in their learning and development. Staff listen carefully to children and encourage the children to think. The manager and staff are highly motivated and their passion to provide an outstanding learning environment that is fully inclusive of all children, their families and community shines through.
Children’s safety is paramount and a robust safe-guarding policy is in place and procedures are extremely secure.
Parents are extremely happy with the service provided and children have strong, emotional attachments to their key person. Parents are kept exceptionally well informed of the progress their child is making and feel positively included in their learning.
The nursery offers exceptional range of activities to support and extent children’s learning and staff plan exciting activities and work with a number of specialist teachers to extend children’s physical, social skills and children are beginning to learn additional languages.
In 2013, the Lymm nursery also won both ‘Nursery Indoor Learning Environment’ and ‘Green Nursery of the Year’ at the Nursery Management Today (NMT) awards.
Kids Planet Lymm is based in a former health clinic and located within a short walk of Lymm village centre and is ideally located for short walks to the library, park and other amenities.
