Kitchen blaze at Woolston

FIRE caused extensive damage in the kitchen of a house at Woolston, Warrington last night.
The blaze was at a house in Clares Farm Close and fire crews from Birchwood and Stockton Heath were called to the scene.
Hose reel jets were used to extinguish the fire and a ventilation unit was deployed to clear smoke from the property.
No smoke alarms were fitted in the property so crews fitted two before leaving the scene.
