Latchford Fun Day

THE Latchford West Community Fun Day will take place on Causeway Park on Saturday May 31.
The theme of the Fun Day is ‘Roll Up Roll Up!’ – with Warrington’s very own Big Top and circus performers provided by ‘Circus Sensible’.
Visitors can have a go at a variety of circus skills – great fun for children and adults alike.
There will be musical entertainment from Vocal Infinity and Drums Recycled, stalls and refreshments, and a variety of activities for the children.
The fun starts at 1pm on Causeway Park, off Gainsborough Road (also accessed from River Road behind Wilderspool Causeway).
Disabled car-parking is available at the Sea Cadets building on River Road (behind Wilderspool Causeway). There is also a nearby car-park at St James Court at the top of Wilderspool Causeway.
Cllr Maureen McLaughlin, chairman of the Latchford West Community Planning Group, said: “The planning group is made up of local people and organisations, with financial support from Warrington Borough Council. Everyone has worked hard to put on a fun day which everyone can enjoy – young and old alike.
“There will be lots of free, hands-on activities and we think people will really enjoy the circus performers, complete with a ‘Big Top’.”
