Fire on industrial estate

FIRE crews were called to a works premises at Warrington after fire broke out.
The blaze was at a unit on the Guardian Street Industrial Estate and involved an extractor fan and a quantity of wood shavings.
One firefighter wearing breathing apparatus tackled the outbreak with a hose reel jet. Then firefighters dismantled the extractor unit to check for hot spots.
It is believed the cause of the blaze was a faulty electric motor.
