A SEVEN-year-old Warrington boy was so moved by a TV commercial he saw about the Save the Children charity that he decided he had to do something to help youngsters less fortunate than himself.
Bodhi Davies, of Chapelford, a pupil at Callands Primary School, decided to climb a mountain in the Lake District to raise money for the charity.
He said: “I want to make a small difference to these children’s lives because they do not have the things that I have.”
Already, Bodhi has raised more than £250 – even before he does the climb on Thursday, April 17.
He is also planning to make Easter cakes tosell o raise more money.
Mum Jennifer said: “His Dad and I are very proud of how thoughtful and grown-up he has been over this.
“We think this show how brilliant young children can be.”
Bodhi also attends Little Stars drama school and swims with the Warriors of Warrington.
He has set up a JustGiving page where supporters can make donations at www.justgiving.com/BodhiDavies
