Bands invited to apply for Music Festival

BANDS from across the north west can apply to play at the Warrington Music Festival 2014 from Friday (April 11).
Warrington Music Festival brings a weekend of live music to the town centre in July 2014. The event showcases emerging talent and offers bands the chance to play their own material at the same festival which was headlined by Happy Mondays in 2013.
Last year’s festival saw the Salford collective play to a crowd of 3000 at the Old Market Place at Golden Square as the original line-up joined each other on stage for one of the first times in 19 years.
Now in its eighth year, this year’s festival promises to deliver more great artists as well as showcasing new music from across the region.
Any band or artist can enter the festival, which is scheduled to take place across Warrington town centre during the weekend of 18 – 20 July.
The event has been organised by Culture Warrington and Score Creative with support from Golden Square Shopping Centre and Warrington Borough Council.
The closing date for submissions is Friday 2 May. For details on how to enter please see below.
