Housing development nears its end

THE final phase of housing development on a former naval camp near Warrington is about to be launched.
Fourteen four and five-bedroomed houses will be built to add to the first phase of properties on the former HMS Gosling site off Lady Lane, Croft.
Only one property remains on the first phase and eight provisional reservations have been made on the second.
Marie Morris, sales director for developers Elan Homes said: “The popularity of our new homes at Gosling Park is nothing short of phenomenal. The development so far has been a resounding success with homes selling much quicker than we could build them.
“Part of the appeal of the homes is that they’re surrounded by woodland and meadows and we have welcomed the first homeowners in time for spring.”
The final four and five-bedroom homes at Gosling Park will feature open plan layouts downstairs with flexible accommodation upstairs. Master bedrooms benefit from en-suites and in the larger properties, the second bedroom will also have an en-suite.
The properties will be kind to the environment too, thanks to water butts to collect rainwater, compost bins and solar roof tiles.
