Wood returns as Wolves embark on road to Wembley

EXPERIENCED Prop Paul Wood returns to the Warrington 19 man squad for the first time this season as the Wolves prepare to travel up to Hull KR on Sunday afternoon to face the Robins in the fourth round of the Tetley’s Challenge Cup, kick-off 2pm.
The two sides go into the game on the back of Super League wins last weekend and will hope to carry this good form into the Cup competition.
There are no second chances in this prestigious competition so there is everything to play for as the teams aim to make it one step further on the road to Wembley, with the golden point coming into play if the scores are level after 80 minutes – something which the Wolves have experienced once before on a successful road to Wembley at Hull KR – when Lee Briers landed a match winning drop goal in the 2009 quarter-final success.

Wolves Squad:

10 Roy Asotasi

3 Chris Bridge
25 Ben Evans
18 Rhys Evans
13 Simon Grix
9 Micky Higham

23 James Laithwaite

14 Michael Monaghan
7 Richie Myler
