A WARRINGTON girl is hoping for a special 21st birthday present on July 27 – the title Miss British Beauty Curve
Natasha Rhodes, aged 20, of Orford is representing the whole of Cheshire in the plus-size beauty pageant in London.
Her birthday falls on the day of the pageant and she is hoping this will be a good omen.
Natasha, who works in customer services, said: “I’ve never done anything like this before and I’m so excited and so nervous. I am with an agency and have done a few jobs for an online fashion retailer.
“But this is quite different. The response has been amazing – people calling me a role-model for their children and from older women too.
“I think plus size modelling is brilliant because Marilyn Monroe was a size 16 which was NORMAL back in her day!
“I hope to do Warrington and the rest of Cheshire proud!”
