GOLDEN Square is inviting people to explore and sample a variety of local delights at its brand new ‘Artisan Market’ in the Old Market Place.
The first of the unique monthly markets will launch on Sunday April 13, offering locally sourced and produced crafts and products as well as a fantastic array of hot and cold world foods, including breads, cheeses, patisserie, preserves and much more.
The market will return to Golden Square on every second Sunday of each month until the end of the year.
Mandy Garcia, Event Organiser at Artisan Network said: “We’re really looking forward to bringing Warrington’s first true Artisan market to Golden Square. It’s a fabulous new contemporary and vibrant makers market and will be filled full of talented artisans from across the North West.
“With our range of talented makers there will be something different every month to discover. From handmade cards to gourmet pies to pottery and ceramics there really is something for everyone.”
Ian Cox, Golden Square Shopping Centre Manager, added: “We think the artisan market is going to be a great addition to Golden Square and Warrington as a whole. There will be some truly fantastic local suppliers and produce, and it’s great to be able support this homegrown talent.
“With the weather brightening up it will make the perfect Sunday jaunt with friends or family!”
