THE Bellhouse – the lounge bar at Grappenhall Community Centre in Bellhouse Lane – has undergone a complete refurbishment.
Work has been going on over the last few months and the result is a plush, new comfortable lounge bar area.
Manager Pauline McManus said: “We have brought the bar into the 21st century, but without losing any of its charm.
“We have given it a traditional feel with a modern twist, using fabulous old oak panelling from the original bar, plus wooden floors, comfortable seating and new carpeting.
“Anyone who hasn’t been to see us recently should pop in – and don’t forget families with children are welcome up to 9pm.”
