A FIRE which caused damage to a fence at the rear of a property at Orford, Warrington, early today is believed to be the work of arsonists.
Fire crews from Warrington Fire Station found a fence panel well alight at the rear of Pocklington Court and used a hose reel jet to extinguish the flames.
There was extensive damage to the fence, but none to other property.
An examination of the damage suggested the fire had been caused by deliberate ignition. Police are investigating.
