Wolves make it three in a row

WARRINGTON Wolves recorded their third consecutive victiory with a convincing 28-12 victory at big spending Salford.
Centre Chris Bridge opened the scoring on 18 minutes after Salford failed to collect a high ball. Stefan Ratchford was wide with the conversion attempt.
Four minutes later Micky Higham darted over from dummy half to score with Ratchford adding the extras to make it 0-10.
Young winger Gene Ormsby was next to touch down after Salford failed to deal with a grubber kick. Ratchford was again on target to make it 0-16.
Salford hit back on the half hour when Dominic Manfredi went in at the corner making it 4-16 at the break.
Warrington extended their lead on 50 minutes after back to back penalties with Joel Monaghan twisting out of the tackle to touch down. Ratchford added the extras to make it 4-22.
Salford hit back on 62 minutes with Manfredi going over for his second but the conversion attempt was again wide.
On 65 minutesd Roy Asotasi raced over with Ratchord’s conversion makng it 8-28.
Greg Johnson scored a late consolation for the home side but again the conversion attempt was wide.
