WARRINGTON Town have signed prolific goal scorer Shaun Tuck from Conference North side Vauxhall Motors.
The 27-year-old former Skelmersdale and Witton marksmen, has been signed to strengthen Warrington’s striking options as they push for promotion.
Tuck initially arrived at Skelmersdale midway through the 2011/12 season from Cammell Laird and ended the campaign as the NPL First Division North’s top scorer.
He joined Witton where he averaged a goal every other game, scoring 26 in 53 appearances, before re-joining Skelmersdale. He has also played for Marine.
Warrington MD Toby Macormac said: “I’ve been tracking Shaun since he departed Witton and once I knew he may be available I didn’t waste anytime. He is a proven goal scorer at this level and above and will provide us with further fire power up front as we enter the business end of the season.”
Manager Shaun Reid added: “I have admired Shaun’s ability as a footballer for some time and I am delighted that he has decided to join Warrington Town as we continue our push for promotion.”
