Wolves bounce back to beat Broncos

WARRINGTON Wolves survived a half-time scare as they trailed London

Broncos 16-14 hitting back with 30 unanswered points after the break –

with winger Rhys Evans bagging four tries on his return to the starting

line-up in the absence of Joel Monaghan.
Warrington opened the scoring after just three minutes as Roy Asotasi charged over, with Stefan Ratchford adding the extras to make it 0-6 to the visitors.
But the hosts hit back within five minutes as Rhys Evans fumbled a high ball and from the resulting set Slyney went over with Bishay adding the extras to level the scores.
On 16 minutes the Broncos took the lead as quick hands saw Farrar go over in the corner with Bishay converting from wide out to make it 12-6.
The hosts extended their lead on 23 minutes as Minns went over but Bishay couldn’t land the extras making it 16-6 – and the last time the Broncos were to trouble the scoreboard.
The Wolves hit back as Chris Bridge twisted out of a tackle to touch down bit Ratchford was wide with the touchline conversion.
On 34 minutes Rhys Evans scored his first of four as he went over in the corner, with Ratchford again wide leaving it 16-14 at the break.
Young winger Gene Ormsby celebrated his first senior try on 44 minutes as he raced under the posts wit Ratchford adding tot extras to make it 16-20.
Three minutes later Evans was over for his second in the corner, with Ratchford again wide making it 16-24 as the Broncos collapsed in the final quarter.
Ryan Atkins scored a break away try under the sticks on 66 minutes which Ratchford converted to make it 16-30 and three minutes later Evans completed his hat-trick with an interception which Ratchford converted.
On 74 minutes Evans dived over for his fourth try but with Ratchford off, O’Brien was wide witht he conversion, leaving it 16-40.
In the final minute Atkins raced away for his second of the afternoon going over in the corner, with O’Brien again wide leaving the final score 16-44.
