Stagestruck Evie lands first theatre role

A WARRINGTON yougster is stagestruck after winning auditions to appear in her first professional theatre show – Aladdin, at Liverpool’s Epstein Theatre this Easter.
Evie Burton-Baddeley, aged 11, a pupil at Lymm High School who lives in Stockton Heath, is a member of Little stars stage school in Appleton.
Facing stiff competition she successfully auditioned and has been selected to appear in the LHK productions Easter Pantomine Aladdin which runs April 15-21.
The show runs for 18 shows and stars Curtis Stacey who was in Emmerdale.
Evie, who has started her rehearsals was extremely shocked and delighted to have got through.
Proud mum Carolyne said: “She can’t wait for her first appearance in a professional theatre production and is delighted to have got through her auditions.”
Meanwhile Evie has also recently completed a short film as the lead, which is being entered in film festivals.
She comes from a family of young stars, with younger sister Hope picking up awards in the finals of a pagent competition held in Disneyland Paris last year.
