Riley on loan to Wildcats

WARRINGTON Wolves winger Chris Riley has joined Wakefield Wildcats on a four-week loan with immediate effect, while young full-back Matty Russell has been drafted into the squad to face London.
Riley has played just the one game so far this season against St Helens in Round One. He is set to go straight into Wakefield’s 19-man squad for Sunday’s clash against Catalan.
Meanwhile Wolves’ boss Tony Smith has named his 19 man squad to travel down to London this weekend to face the Broncos at The Hive on Sunday afternoon, kick-off 3pm, for Round 4 of the First Utility Super League.
Last time the Wolves played London on the road they secured a record away league score winning 82-10 following a 54-20 home win earlier in the season.
This time out Warrington will be looking to build, once again, on last week’s win with London aiming to get off the mark.
Smith said: “London are a bit of an unknown quantity to some degree. They haven’t had much time to put a squad together but they’ve managed to do that and to come up with a credible performance on the weekend. They are going to be a difficult team for us; and a challenging team. We don’t know much about some of their individuals but we’ll do our homework over the next few days and get prepared.”
Young half-back Gareth O’Brien added: “They are a brand new team with a number of new faces. They have played a few games this season though so we’ll analyse those during the week, look where their strengths lie and where their weaknesses are. For us we are looking for an improvement on the Hull performance.”
Smith names two changes to last week’s 19-man; Matthew Russell and Glenn Riley in for Anthony England and Ben Harrison (hamstring).

Wolves Squad:
10 Roy Asotasi
4 Ryan Atkins
3 Chris Bridge
17 Ben Currie
25 Ben Evans
18 Rhys Evans
9 Micky Higham
